Working closely with developer The Coalition, Blur was proud to contribute to the premiere of Gears of War: E-Day with a trailer made in Unreal Engine 5. This marks a new chapter for Blur in collaborating with game studios to tell their stories with the same development tools they use to make games.

Working in UE5 with assets players will see in the game allowed us to maintain visual parity and integrity with The Coalition's work. Using the same in-engine tools gets us closer to the final look much earlier in the process, and allows for more iterations of the creative process.
